Attention!!!

We are pleased to announce that we are now permitted to provide all dental procedures and services. Our communities have been through a lot over the last few months. Smile Center is committed to the safety of our patients and our team. We will do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs. We thank you for your understanding during this changing time.

We follow recommendations and guidelines made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). This allows us to make sure that our infection control procedures are up-to-date and enables us to provide the safest environment for our patients and our team.

Smile Center has implemented additional safety precautions to help protect our patients and staff. We will be scheduling appointments in a manner that promotes social distancing and allows for adequate time for us to disinfect all areas of use in between appointments.

Upon arrival at our office,
  • Call us before entering the building to let us know you have arrived. We will call or text you once the office is ready for you to enter.
  • We ask that patients enter the office unaccompanied.
  • A member of our team will meet you at the door to take your temperature with a contactless thermometer.
  • Every person entering the office is expected to wear a face covering and will be asked to sanitize their hands immediately upon entry.
  • A COVID-19 questionnaire will be reviewed with you.

Clear plastic screens (sneeze guards) have been installed at the front desk to minimize exposure to airborne pathogens. Air exchange devices and new suction systems have been obtained and are being used to ensure the safety of patients and team.

Our doctors and staff will be wearing all of the recommended personal protective equipment (PPE).

Thank you for being part of our family dental practice. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back.

Full mouth dental implants from dentist in Buffalo

Tooth loss detracts from your smile. The appearance changes by having a gap in place of a missing tooth. Functionally, your teeth may shift causing your bite to change. Losing a tooth can be a traumatic experience, but it doesn’t have to be. Let Dr. Gordon Kent and the professional team at Smile Center in Buffalo help you restore the health and functionality to your mouth. Our team offers single tooth or full mouth dental implants as options to replace missing teeth.

What are dental implants?

Dental implants are cylinders or posts that replace missing teeth. Implants are sturdy and provide security and stability for dental restorations or the replacement teeth. Previously, if patients were missing multiple teeth, they either had to deal with the unsightly gap or use bridges or dentures. With our experienced team, dental implants can be placed to save your smile. Depending on the patient’s need, 3 to 4 implants may be used to replace a few teeth. 6 to 8 implants are used to support a full arch of new teeth.

Benefits of dental implants

At Smile Center, we use top quality materials so you feel confident knowing you have the best dental implant and restoration for a natural-looking smile. Implants are a great option to restore and maintain the health and appearance of the mouth. Advantages of implants include:

  • Dental implants are stable, durable restorations. They can last a lifetime with proper care.
  • Implants replace the tooth root which stimulates and maintains the health of the jawbone.
  • Topped with a dental restoration, implants improve the function and aesthetics of a smile marred by missing teeth.

Dr. Kent has been placing dental implants since 1981. Every step of the dental implant process is performed in Smile Center’s state-of-the-art facility which assures patients the comfort and convenience of seeing familiar faces throughout the procedure as well as the confidence in receiving the best care and quality restorations.

I had surgery for immediate dentures on 21st November and I just have to say that Laura and Dr. Kent are amazing. I had absolutely no pain only a few tender spots and didn’t even need my prescribed pain medication! I read alot of horror stories on the internet and I would absolutely recommend going to The Smile Center if you choose to go through this process. Although these aren’t my final set of teeth, I can finally smile and not be ashamed of how I look! I have no doubt my finals will be even better! Thank you Dr. Kent and staff.
