Attention!!!

We are pleased to announce that we are now permitted to provide all dental procedures and services. Our communities have been through a lot over the last few months. Smile Center is committed to the safety of our patients and our team. We will do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs. We thank you for your understanding during this changing time.

We follow recommendations and guidelines made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). This allows us to make sure that our infection control procedures are up-to-date and enables us to provide the safest environment for our patients and our team.

Smile Center has implemented additional safety precautions to help protect our patients and staff. We will be scheduling appointments in a manner that promotes social distancing and allows for adequate time for us to disinfect all areas of use in between appointments.

Upon arrival at our office,
  • Call us before entering the building to let us know you have arrived. We will call or text you once the office is ready for you to enter.
  • We ask that patients enter the office unaccompanied.
  • A member of our team will meet you at the door to take your temperature with a contactless thermometer.
  • Every person entering the office is expected to wear a face covering and will be asked to sanitize their hands immediately upon entry.
  • A COVID-19 questionnaire will be reviewed with you.

Clear plastic screens (sneeze guards) have been installed at the front desk to minimize exposure to airborne pathogens. Air exchange devices and new suction systems have been obtained and are being used to ensure the safety of patients and team.

Our doctors and staff will be wearing all of the recommended personal protective equipment (PPE).

Thank you for being part of our family dental practice. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back.

If you are dissatisfied with your smile and are looking for a dentist with an aesthetic eye, look no further! The Smile Center specializes in cosmetic dentistry. From whitening and veneers to bridges and implants, everything we do is designed to safely make you happy with your smile.

One of the most popular procedures today is tooth whitening. We all want that gleaming, movie-star smile. In one safe and easy in-office treatment, you will be able to see a difference. Discoloration and stains, whether from your favorite beverage, aging, or old dental work, can be safely and gently removed; restoring your teeth to their former beauty, and even beyond.

Veneers, also called facings, are one treatment used to improve your smile. These are thin pieces of porcelain laminate that are attached to the front of your teeth. They alter the color, size, or shape of your teeth. This option is ideal to correct gaps in your teeth or stubborn staining, among other issues.

Our offices also offer bonding; commonly used to cosmetically correct chipped or broken teeth. The dentist bonds a piece of composite resin to your tooth with an adhesive material. The resin is colored like the rest of your tooth and the dentist will shape it to look like it belongs. An ultraviolet light will harden the resin. When the treatment is completed, no one will know at a glance there was any correction.

Many of our restoration techniques can be fashioned onsite in our in-house laboratory. Not only do you not have to wait for us to ship it out to the lab, you can feel safe in knowing we are in control of everything used in your care.

Dr. Gordon Kent and the staff at The Smile Center are happy to help you with all of your questions and concerns. Schedule your initial consultation today. Call 716-634-4090 and feel better about your smile!
