We are pleased to announce that we are now permitted to provide all dental procedures and services. Our communities have been through a lot over the last few months. Smile Center is committed to the safety of our patients and our team. We will do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs. We thank you for your understanding during this changing time.

We follow recommendations and guidelines made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). This allows us to make sure that our infection control procedures are up-to-date and enables us to provide the safest environment for our patients and our team.

Smile Center has implemented additional safety precautions to help protect our patients and staff. We will be scheduling appointments in a manner that promotes social distancing and allows for adequate time for us to disinfect all areas of use in between appointments.

Upon arrival at our office,
  • Call us before entering the building to let us know you have arrived. We will call or text you once the office is ready for you to enter.
  • We ask that patients enter the office unaccompanied.
  • A member of our team will meet you at the door to take your temperature with a contactless thermometer.
  • Every person entering the office is expected to wear a face covering and will be asked to sanitize their hands immediately upon entry.
  • A COVID-19 questionnaire will be reviewed with you.

Clear plastic screens (sneeze guards) have been installed at the front desk to minimize exposure to airborne pathogens. Air exchange devices and new suction systems have been obtained and are being used to ensure the safety of patients and team.

Our doctors and staff will be wearing all of the recommended personal protective equipment (PPE).

Thank you for being part of our family dental practice. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back.

Sedation Dentistry

Why should you visit the Smile Center?

At Smile Center, we understand that for some people, dental visits are wrought with anxiety. We want to change how you feel about seeing the dentist. Our team works with great precision and a gentle touch, and we listen to your overall needs not only for dental care, but also for emotional support.

Smile Center is the premier sedation dentistry practice in our region. If you would like to eliminate fear associated with dental care, we invite you to contact us and incorporate sedation into your next dental visit.

With an understanding of the uniqueness of each patient, our practice is equipped to offer three different forms of dental sedation: laughing gas, enteral sedation, also called oral conscious sedation, and IV sedation. Each type of sedation has unique advantages, and we discuss those during the initial consultation so that you may determine which will best suit your needs for relaxing, effective dental care.

Our practitioners are highly trained in each form of sedation we offer at Smile Center, and work closely with each patient to ensure that the most appropriate sedation is chosen. Patients who undergo treatment with sedation feel no discomfort and no anxiety. Some may feel as though they are in a dreamlike state, or may even fall into a light sleep as we provide gentle smile care. Following treatment, patients are able to return home for a day of rest, while the sedative wears off.

Smile Center offers a variety of sedation solutions to our patients, and our familiarity with the various aspects of sedation leads to stress-free dental visits. We are happy to work with our patients to help them determine the best solution for their unique dental needs. Our team places a high priority on the trust we build with our patients, knowing that this will lead to better oral health through teamwork.

To experience dental care in a calm, relaxing atmosphere, contact our Buffalo dental office. We will provide details on sedation, and show you that you can actually look forward to visiting your dentist.
